I've always been a question-asker, deeply curious about people.
At every stage of my career I have leveraged that curiosity in the service of positive change, posing powerful questions as a teacher, researcher, and consultant. Time and again, I have been amazed by the transformative power of humble inquiry. That is what drew me to coaching, and that is what keeps me here.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in English from Stanford University, a master’s in Education Psychology from the University of Colorado, and a doctorate in Education from Harvard. I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
When I am not coaching, you can find me supporting education improvement initiatives through my developmental program evaluation firm, Helix Learning Partners, swimming laps, reading a good book, hiking, or cooking. I live outside of Boston, Massachusetts with my family and our beloved dog, Hazel.
